350.org - A climate group that was founded by author Bill McKibben and a group of university friends that now has supporters all over the world.
American Council on Renewable Energy - The American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the renewable energy sector through market development, policy changes, and financial innovation.
BankTrack - BankTrack, based in the Netherlands, is the international tracking, campaigning and NGO support organization that focuses on private sector commercial banks and the activities they finance.
Chesapeake Climate Action Network - When it was formed in 2002, the Chesapeake Climate Action Network was the first grassroots, nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to fighting global warming in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Now CCAN is probably the premiere climate organization in the region.
Citizens' Climate Lobby - A fast-growing grassroots, nonprofit organization that advocates for national policies to address climate change, in part by training and supporting volunteers to engage with elected officials and the media.
Rainforest Action Network - RAN campaigns for the forests, their inhabitants and the natural systems that sustain life by transforming the global marketplace through education, grassroots organizing and non-violent direct action.
Oil Change International - Oil Change International is a research, communication, and advocacy organization focused on exposing the true costs of fossil fuels and facilitating the coming transition towards
lean energy.
Sierra Club - The Sierra Club was founded by legendary conservationist John Muir in 1892, and is now the nation's largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization -- with more than two million members and supporters. The Club's successful Beyond Coal campaign can be found here.

3. Reports
Banking on Climate Change, Fossil Fuel Finance Report 2020. The 11th edition of the annual fossil fuel finance report card released by Rainforest Action Network and other groups. Greatly expanded in scope, this year's report revealed the paths banks have taken in the past four years since the Paris Agreement was adopted in December 2015. And alarmingly, the authors found that overall bank financing for the fossil fuel industry continues to be aligned with climate disaster, with JPMorgan Chase again being the #1 bank in the world as far as investing in fossil fuel projects. The Sky’s Limit: Why the Paris Climate Goals Require a Managed Decline of Fossil Fuel Production. This study, which was released in September 2016 by Oil Change International and other organizations from around the world, scientifically grounds the growing movement to keep carbon in the ground by revealing the need to stop all new fossil fuel infrastructure and industry expansion. 100% clean and renewable wind, water, and sunlight (WWS) all-sector energy roadmaps for the 50 United States. Stanford engineers issued in June 2015 a state-by-state plan to convert U.S. to 100% clean, renewable

IPCC Fifth Assessment Report. The Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) was released by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in 2014. AR5 provides a clear and up to date view of the current state of scientific knowledge relevant to climate change. Report can be found here.
National Climate Assessment. A product of U.S. governmental agencies, the National Climate Assessment (NCA) summarizes the impacts of climate change on the United States, now and in the future. A team of more than 300 experts, guided by a 60-member Federal Advisory Committee, released the latest NCA in 2014. See the NCA here.
